The banking business - notably in the area of retail financing - is being disrupted by a digital transformation that impacts both interpersonal relations and operations management. Our client, a subsidiary of a major French bank, wanted to set up a system to train its managers in digital technology by drawing on internal expertise.
The implementation of a reverse mentoring system is based on the development of the skills of IT experts with managers. The challenge is to structure an efficient system to accelerate the managers' awareness of the challenges of digital technology and to familiarize themselves with the main concepts transforming the business.
Keyrus Management worked on the basis of an approach initiated by our client, reinforcing the needs of the leaders being coached, while providing the relevant support elements to the mentors. This was done by: • A Diagnosis of the reverse mentoring approach to adjust the ambition, key themes and implementation methods of the coaching • Structuring an operational coaching approach that integrates the needs of internal clients: evaluation of the mentee's needs, setting joint objectives between mentor and mentee, fundamental contributions/targeted contributions, formats (REX, practical work, etc.), setting a plan for deepening and increasing skills • Pedagogical engineering for the design of 6 modules, guided for both the mentor and the mentee
RPA, Data, digital transformation of the bank, social networks and digital marketing, AI, new employee experience, future of work,...: through this reverse mentoring program, 15 key themes of digital culture were proposed to managers with a personalized support facilitating the appropriation of the associated business issues.
